To the right of their portraits, you’ll see a notepad and a pencil icon – click on that. From there, on the bottom left, you can see who is currently in your active party. To change and swap party members out in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, you first need to head out to the world map. After you reach more than five party members, you’ll need to send someone home to patiently wait until they are needed again. However, the cap that you can have active at any given moment is five. You’ll start off with a humble party of just you and your most loyal supporters, but eventually, as you explore the Deadfire Archipelago, you’ll add more to your ranks.
